I cherish my mornings whether it is working early, chilling with the news and a cup of Bears California Strong shirt, or just an early start for whatever. Waking up early is an evidence of a disciplined, purposeful and focused life. Recently I missed 5 days of doing that and felt much more stressed and overwhelmed. I will not be missing it again. I need Bears California Strong shirt. This mindset of “get your sleep when you’re dead” is such an illness to our fast track society. I personally hate waking up early. My biorhythm is just not programmed for it. Waking up early feeling unproductive and shit would definitely waste my time. It’s so implemented in our thinking that if you’re waking up “late” it’s considered as lazy and unproductive. Some people are morning people and some are night owls, there are successful people to be found on both sides of the spectrum.
Science taught us many years before that our schedules only made for “early birds” is completely outdated. Well, don’t know if anyone will read this – one in a thousand- comment but since I’m writing this at 1 am it slightly proves my point. It’s more what you do during the time you are awake not so much doing things at a ‘certain’ time. Even been known to hit the treadmill at midnight. It’s silly to suggest that there is one, best, way to do anything.
